3: F-35 Lightning II:
Since first being introduced in 2006, the F-35 has joined the ranks of other fifth generation aviation fighters as one of the most advanced airborne weapons in the world. The jet is specifically designed to carry out hardcore tasks in the sky such as ground attacks and air superiority missions. The family of F-35 consists of the three different models by the name of the F-35A conventional takeoff and landing (CTOL) variant, the F-35B short take-off and vertical-landing (STOVL) variant, and the F-35C carrier-based Catapult Assisted Take-Off But Arrested Recovery (CATOBAR) variant, the air fighters although very tactical but has been in the eye of critics for its very high budget operating system.
