2. Cold Stone Creamery:
Trying to inspire something new in the ice cream business, the founders Donald and Susan Sutherland were aiming for something in-between soft serve and hard-packed fare when they came out with Cold Stone Creamery in 1988. The ice cream does so by adding extra air which makes it extra creamy and just about right: not too hard and not too soft. Not to mention the extremely delicious award-winning milkshake that it also sells by the name of “Cold Stone’s PB&C”.
