7. Carpet Viper

Responsible for the majority of snake-associated deaths in the world, this viper uses a hemotoxin similar to that of the boomslang. Unfortunately, the majority of the bites happen in regions that lack modern medical facilities to the victims slowly bleed to death over the course of many weeks.
