The Maldives

This chain of more than a thousand islands located in the middle of the Indian ocean is full of white sand beaches. With a very small but friendly local population, this is a land of dreams. The best time to visit the Maldives is between November and May. During this period the weather is mostly dry and cold. The months from June to October are considered monsoon season, so expect driving rains and high temperatures.
