2:Toyota Prius Hybrid:
The classic example of fuel efficiency since 1997, the latest version of the Toyota Prius is still tops on the list of fuel-efficient cars. Ths Prius Prime sports a 8.8-kilowatt-hour battery pack, but has a 1.8-liter gas engine too. Capabel of 121 horsepower, the EPA rate the Prius Prime at 133 mpg-e combined city/highway and gas/hybrid electric. Those are definitely eye-popping numbers when it comes to fuel efficiency. And the all-electric 25-mile range and total estimated range of 640 miles isn’t bad either.
