This well-known insurance company touts a seal of the Greek goddess Prudence, one of the gods focusing on the four basic cardinal virtues that include Prudence, Justice, Fortitude and Temperance. The company is based in London and started out as The Prudential Mutual Assurance Investment and Loan Association with its primary aim of giving loans back in 1848.  The company then gradually made way introducing insurance policies to its clientele and bpoecame famous for “Man from the Pru”. Nowadays it has more than 18 million customers of life insurance along with a number of companies including Jackson National Life Insurance Company and M&G Investments that have been added to the family over the years.
