12. Code Geass

The character in Code Geass has a desire for domination and conquest. His mother has been murdered and he has vowed to destroy his father. After the conquest by the Holy Britannian Empire, Lelouch is a Britannian prince who gave up his right to the throne after Citizens of rights and freedoms and renamed the nation Area 11.
It is always interesting when household matters mix into the epic storyline of an anime series. There are brand new robot weapons, the Knightmare Frames, stripping Japan, and even its own Code Geass is put in an alternate universe. This anime is quite a wild ride.
