12. Coral Snake

The notoriously deadly venomous bite of the Coral Snake is not prominent right away. After some time however, swelling, pain and other problems confront the victim, often within 12 hours. The coordination of brain and muscles fails. Besides a paralyzed body, one of the most common symptoms of a bite from this snake is sight-related problems. Most often victims die due to heart and lung failure.
